Eat Your Greens
You've never seen fangs like the violet man with a crooked smile.
"The Harlequin or fool represents our spontaneous nature, that part that can listen and respond to impulses without censor. This innocence can be refreshing, freely trusting in the journey. However, sometimes when we embody this energy we may not watch where we are going, and blindly step off the cliff. This harlequin willingly goes into the mystery and magic of the world."
I probably don't need to remind you that your life can change in the blink of an eye. What is that? A tenth of a second, and everything you know does a complete one-eighty. How many people would you say are alive at this moment? I'm going to go with a rediculous number, say, thirty billion.
A deserted island which seems to have mostly sunk * not found on any globe, not even named * yesterday the ship we hoped for came close but * it didn't even come to meet us
My first assignment
I dreamt that I was playing "Catch" again (with people from school this time). It's a game my friends and I would play in a park when we were kids. It came out of this one time one of my friends took my hat, and hid in the forest surrounding the park, managing to avoid me for an hour.
Few people know that the Saikyo Groove fighting style was truthfully created by a man called Hiroshi Powers. Dan Hibiki and Hiroshi Powers have been rivals since their youth. Both studied under the same master that had first taught Ryu and Ken, but the latter impatient pair became frustrated and left. Dan stole all of Hiroshi's research on Saikyo Groove after he had passed out during a night of karaoke.

"Death is closing your eyes for a moment, and opening them again to see that your whole world has changed."
It was so cold this evening that the flags over the arena were frozen in place, as if they had been left on the moon.
Two million stars * forever moving apart * you brought me up * I drove you down * their eyes opened up * and for a short moment we were close * we saw only ourselves

In a black and white photo of an abandoned barn next to a dead tree, something you sent to me back in your artistic days, I can see strands of your hair lying across the lense of the camera. We all want to think that we could create something beautiful if we tried. Charity at Christmas comes from the same reason, too - redemption. Maybe, just maybe, we are capable of making up for all the other days we were ashamed. Just one day.
"I have seen what a laugh can do. It can transform almost unbearable tears into something bearable, even hopeful." - Bob Hope
